We maintain consistent & high HSE standards across ALMEER, its project sites & operations offices by meeting the internationally recognized HSE standards such as ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 besides compliance with contractual, statutory & legal requirements.

We believe in the philosophy that all accidents and consequent losses are preventable by conscious efforts in identifying, assessing & managing potential risks to the safety, health & the environment.

ALMEER’s leadership commitment and HSE performance is by and large recognized in the Kuwait oil sector and has been awarded fairly often with appreciation certificates by various prominent client such KNPC, KOC, EQUATE, MEW, KGOC-SAC JO to name a few which helped us keep the employees’ morale high at workplace.

In pursuit of our HSE goals, employees at all levels are trained on continual basis and authorized to play a key role in managing the potential risks and hold responsibilities, authorities & accountabilities for implementing & maintaining the system in line with the established standards, policies, and procedures.

Integrated HSE Management System

ALMEER has established an HSE Integrated Management System to comply with the requirements of ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 effectively. The core objective of the HSE IMS is to provide strategic direction to carry out business operations with utmost safety, by identifying & assessing Occupational Health Risks, Environmental Impacts, mitigating the risks & adverse impact, complying with statutory / legal & other contractual requirements, besides meeting with the other requirements that ALMEER has to or chooses to comply with including contractual requirements.

EHSQ team

A team of HSE & Quality experts maintains the QMS & HSEMS . A team of qualified Internal Auditors are established at the facility who audit the system on predated basis to ensure the compliance of respective standards and develop strategic plans to put into practice continuous improvement.

QUALITY & HSE STANDARDS

HSE STANDARDS

HSE Standard established & maintained at ALMEER are as follows:

  ISO 14001: 2015

The environmental Management System has been established, documented, implemented and maintained at Almeer Technical Services Co. W. L.L in accordance with the requirements of ISO 14001: 2015. Environmental aspects are identified & assessed to evaluate the significant impact on the environment and appropriate control measures for mitigation of adverse impact on the environment are taken on continuous basis.

ISO 45001: 2018

Occupational Health and Safety Management System at ALMEER has been certified for the Standard ISO 45001: 2018. Occupational Hazards and risk assessment is carried out to identify and eliminate or mitigate the occupational risks associated with the activities performed under the scope of the organization.

 

QUALITY STANDARDS

QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

“Customer Satisfaction is Our Goal”. To achieve its Quality goal, the Quality Assurance Program encompasses all the aspects of ALMEER’s operations.

To demonstrate our long-term commitment to quality, the company has brought its practices, procedures and manufacturing programs in line with ISO 9001, ISO 17025 & API Specification Q1 (Valve Servicing & Testing).

ALMEER EHSQ Division maintains Quality Management System at ALMEER in accordance with the following Management System.

 

  1. ISO 9001:2015

EHSQ division of ALMEER manages the Quality Management System in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 since 2000.

 

  1. ISO/IEC 17025: 2017

ALMEER Calibration Laboratory has been accredited by International Accreditation Services based on the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025: 2017 “General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories”.

 

 

  1. API Spec Q1

Quality Management System (QMS) at Valve Services Division has been established, implemented, documented and maintained in accordance with the API Spec Q 1 Standard

(9th Edition), developed & published by the American Petroleum Institute (API) for the “Specification for Quality Management System Requirements for Manufacturing Organizations

for the Petroleum and natural Gas Industry”. The QMS is certified by API for the following scope “Supply, Servicing, Testing & Assembly of Valves including Pressure Testing Valves, for the Oil & Gas Industries”.

  1. ISO/IEC 17020:2012

ALMEER (ATSCO)-Inspection Division has been accredited based on the requirement of ISO/IEC 17020: 2012 “Conformity assessment — Requirements for the operation of various types of bodies performing inspection” for the scope of “Hydrocarbon Measurement & Allocation Systems” as an Independent Third Party Inspection body (Type A).
